The Solar Gateway is designed for outdoor applications where extra long battery life and durability are needed. This waterproof gateway uses a rechargeable solar battery to scan for nearby Bluetooth assets and communicates over cellular. No wires, no network, no battery replacements (for a long time) are ever needed.
How it Works
The Solar Gateway can be programmed to scan for Bluetooth data at a high frequency while maintaining long battery life. Compatible with solutions such as iWheel, QuickTrack and ideal for custom deployments. A single gateway can scan for up to 1,000 assets at once. Data is never sent over a local network and the Gateway has a built-in tracker of its own so you can track and monitor a large number of Bluetooth enabled assets with one Gateway.

The Solar Gateway is pre-integrated with the iWheel solution. Simply place these wireless gateways in your facility parking lots, and you'll begin monitoring your on-site iWheel assets immediately.
