Route History and Breadcrumb Trails
Sometimes knowing an asset's location isn't enough. QuickTrack creates breadcrumb trails that can be used by loss prevention and investigation teams to identify the chain of locations a stolen asset visited, with their time stamps. These locations can often be sources of other theft or may already be associated with law enforcement activity. This allows you to stack offenses or more easily engage with law enforcement and community officials.
How it Works
Because each tracker communicates directly to our cloud-based QuickTrack system, large amount of asset data can be easily stored and accessed. Our play by play route history feature allows you to view locations a stolen cart or asset visited by day, month or hour and see those plots on a map.
Aiding Investigations
Carts aren't just going to one location and staying there. Stolen carts move around constantly. Many of these points can aid investigation activity - not just for stolen carts but for all retail crime.
By tagging a stolen asset to any location on it's route, you can tie offenses together and build a better case for law enforcement or community action regarding a certain property or business.

Compiling "Repeat Offender" Data
QuickTrack's combination of use case- specific hardware and software supports wider applications than asset retrieval. By created a historical log of locations visited, Loss Prevention Teams, can quickly analyze where carts are commonly going in the community - even if that is not their current location. Many "stops along the way" are just as important as the end destination for stolen asset investigations.
